Travel lesson 7: The hidden treasure behind fear

Since I started this travel around the world seems like I started a search for the hidden Pandora is hiding behind my fear. I am more than ever go see my limits and they are going to push. A scientific explanation for this I have not, it's just a natural need to extract everything that is in my life.

I can so well remember that I previously hated camping, just the thought to sleep primitive in nature, I found nothing. I would rather chose a hotel with all the trimmings. Yet I have while traveling through New Zealand camped most, not in a tent but in a campercar, our Spaceship I now after I had to leave there even Mass every day.

This was very different on the first day, when I wondered myself: "Where I started in hell?”.

What initially appeared to be a nightmare, quickly turned into one of my favorite ways to travel. Delicious middle sleep in nature with only the much needed stuff. The luxury of a hotel made way for simplicity, simple and ease of camping, though I must confess that New Zealand is a real camping country. This country shows itself at its best if you really are in nature and not watching from the balcony of your hotel room.

Besides the camping, I had also not think of anywhere to jump from an airplane or from a sand dune hard to surf down or, even worse, swim with small sharks. In all cases, you literally dive into the unknown and you hope for the best outcome. My curiosity about the unknown has tempted me to look my fears in the eye and speak with: "I feel it but I do it anyway!"And when the Pandora's box opened. The euphoria and adrenaline made that I could lose myself for an instant into nothing, in that void between life and death. For all thoughts left my head a fraction of a second and the only thing was when remained calm. A calm that has all my senses numb to let me purely from another dimension feel.

Fears are nothing but badly wrapped presents that we want to extract on the one hand but would rather leave unopened stand on the other side. If you're curious about the treasures behind your fears, just try to do what you are afraid of or what you "think" to have to hate and then see with their own eyes how opens the treasure of Pandora and your life enriched with sensations you've never felt before.
