Looking back on 2015
When a year-end approaches, we look back at the events that have taken place, We just put too often focus on the bad things that have happened to us. You just have to follow the media and see where the focus. It seems that recall the beautiful moments is a kind of challenge or a fight against our conditioned nature. When we think positive and look at the good stuff feels like bragging, naturalness, irrelevant, or like something you'd rather put in a drawer and can open only if you have adversity, because these moments offer you a bright spot in the darkness. But if positivist I want to look back with my dear readers to 2015, but from a pink cloud, with pink glasses and a pair of pink pumps. I have compiled a list of my favorite places, things and experiences and this I hope to inspire you to look back with love and attention to the year that almost comes to an end. Do not forget that if the glass is half empty, you can always drunk it. Cheers!!!
Hotel
The choice is very difficult because last year I've been in 53 slept hotels, in 8 Nations (Colombia, Argentina, Chili, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Belgium and France). Yet there is one hotel that stands above the rest and that is FincaHotel Mundo Nuevo in Salento, Colombia. The personal attention of Patricia, Reynaldo and owner Liliana make this hotel a nice place to stay.
B&B
B&B van mijn vriendin Wilma 'Without limit' in Without, Germany. Nergens zijn wij zo goed ontvangen als bij hen en het ontbijt was zo uitgebreid en goed dat wij de rest van de dag niets meer hoefden te eten 🙂 Click here for best B&B in Ohne
Restaurant
The Botin, the oldest restaurant in Madrid is without doubt the most fun and delicious restaurant that I 2015 have visited.
Journey
The trip through Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil was super intense but also incredibly beautiful and so my favorite 2015.
Experience
Walking from Irun to Santiago de Compostela in 39 days. A lifetime experience.
Destination in the summer
Sweden and especially the natural Fegens.
Destination in winter
If we want to escape the cold than Brazil is the best destination for winter.
Destination in the spring
Berlin is almost always beautiful, but in spring it is more pleasant in terms of temperature.
Destination in autumn
Madrid although I must say that the weather was very good this year with temperatures over 20 degrees. But even still Madrid with a bit of rain like!
Museum
Stasi museum in Berlin (espionage museum).
City
Berlin and Madrid. Sorry I can not choose, both are insane but from different angles.
hidden place
Cadavedo, a cozy and small town in Asturias, Spain. The stay at Casa Rural Roja made this hidden place a great experience.
Surprising place
Gislaved in Sweden. Thanks to the invitation of the mayor, we have visited this city. In the beginning I did not know what to expect from this city, but after a fantastic day tour organized by the whole church, I knew its inhabitants and the rest of the real charms of Gislaved.
Show
Flamenco show in Madrid, see video on my YouTube channel.
Strand
Ipanema in Brazil.
shoe store
In Madrid I have found my favorite store. Here they sell special shoes among the clothing racks and flowers. And, indeed flowers. Ropa y Floristeria is a shop clothes, shoes and beautiful flower arrangements combine.
Gadget
iPhone 6s has everything a smartphone should have plus the ability to create live pictures.
Social media app
This year I discovered Snapchat J, a handy app next to my blog. If you want to follow me: journey book is my name.
Book
Keep those kept, One of my favorite writers, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (gift from a French girlfriend J).
Photo
My best picture this year in Valencia.

Coffee
The best cappuccino I drank this year in Bilbao.
