Travel is your best life coach

Travel is your best life coach Why choose coaching sessions anywhere in a confined space, if the world is at your feet with the best advice and customized change management. For me personally travel the best way to get my life back on track, I do not need a life coach. Still, I was curious about the opinions of others, they would travel also experienced a life coach? And like every Tuesday last week was my turn to ask a rating question to my followers on Instagram. was the question: “Which trip has your life changed forever?” The answers were very different and inspiring, therefore…

Travel lesson 10: Campertje, grove, insect

We have to be exactly one year ago decided to still socially desirable and recognized life form of house, tree, creature leaving to organize our lives as adventurous and digital nomads. Or so I thought when I started writing this article and came to the conclusion that our life still contains three elements, just a little different without bourgeois states and unnecessary ballast. Van huisje naar campertje Wij hebben ons appartement ingeruild voor een campertje, or with all the basic amenities but without the annoying burden weekly, Monthly and yearly cleanings and maintenance :). Dit is een absolute tijdwinst want ons campertje

5 reasons to live in Madrid

It plans to make is a waste of time, I am by now learned. Now I'm more prepared for whatever comes, because my fate goes from left to right and eventually ended up somewhere in the middle. It was the same with determining our starting destination. The planning was Berlin, the city that completely wrapped me up and where I really liked to see myself living. Learning German also seemed like a fantastic challenge, whether this helped me during my trip, was equally irrelevant. After the Camino we went to Madrid because this city happened to be on the route to Tortosa. But as I wrote before, geloof ik niet in

Looking back from the trip to Compostela

Enjoy my Camino: my polar steps An amazing experience 39 days and many kilometers, began which ended something else. Walk to Compostela was not something for years was on my wish list. Indeed, I never walked this. It just came on a day in me when I wondered what it would be to start over and get closer to myself with my dreams, fears, values, standardize, faith and desire. What at first was a live question, like all the questions we ask ourselves daily, turned this question into a wish, a desire. Ik wist op dat moment niet hoe ik dat

    The magic of the sea

If you are born as lobster, you feel you're attracted to water, which in my case is very strong. Water has something calming and since my head is working overtime with all the dilemmas that you've thirties, I can use the water Serenity good. This was one of the reasons to choose the coastal route, because as many roads lead to Rome so there are several Caminos leading to Santiago and the coastal route is one of. This route begins in Irun and runs continuously along the beautiful blue sea to Ribadeo, about 620 kilometer. Lang genoeg om mijn gedachten te laten

The ideal agenda of a Pilgrim

Pilgrim being can be a gift or a curse for you, it depends on how you look. To begin let you as a pilgrim all behind, your house, is a partner, friends, family, auto, wardrobe, schoenencollectie, status and you can think more. As a tabula rasa (unwritten sheet) you start a hike (je Camino). Since you love it looks like a stick in your hands, an overweight backpack, a tousled hairstyle, a red forehead efforts and often limping, you will be seen by outsiders as undesirable. People have a repertoire of prejudices ready. I hear they often say (dat

From 10 commandments of El Camino

The Ten Commandments of El Camino: You will take you to your destination, and your faith everywhere Do not follow the Camino, but make your own Camino Be brave and vulnerable Do not take life too seriously, but all with a grain of salt Respect your shoes, ze zijn de musthave van je reis Behandel de ander zoals je behandeld wilt worden Laat de NIVEA thuis (Niet Invullen Voor Een Ander) Dig not a pit for another, otherwise you fall (literally) himself in. Het halfvolle glas kun je altijd bijschenken Begeer niet het bed van een ander i.v.m. (bedbugs) I try this 10 commanded to live and song 9 gaat

    Fun & Pain = Camino

Already more than a week ago we started (my mother and I) on this adventure. A strange combination of all the people we encounter, because they love their mothers-preferably at a distance. The farther the better. Not me, but if it comes to that, I will turn left where she turns right and since we are always lost, there is little chance that we will meet each other somewhere 😉 problem solved. Fortunately, it is still good and that is because we have a lot of fun together. We do the Camino together but each with their own reason, Joke voor de sportprestatie en culturele interesse

    Walk, eat, sleep and repeat

We now have to sit for a few days and in total 120 kilometer run. This includes all the extras that we inadvertently do make. Often because we doubt whether we walk on the right path and just walk back to check it or simply because we are stubborn and do not want to follow the instructions of the GPS. Anyway count the steps well on. The first day we were super enthusiastic and positive. We had wild plans, so we were on the road on a terrace for coffee and a lunch with Spanish tapas. Then we would stop in time to allow our muscles rest. Dit
