Santiago's road

Pilgrim 2.0

Less than a day ago, I was a civilian city, someone who kept her daily routine faithfully. Routine, yes routine for things you do every day, automatically become a routine, for example, waking up every day to the wonderful music from my iPhone, then do a status check of my social media, then have a healthy breakfast of spelled bread or yogurt muesli with blueberries. Then take a warm, long shower… (These were a few examples because I don't have to reveal all my private details at once :-))

But today I am a pilgrim if I believe my credential. But the special thing about my new status is that I am not just a pilgrim, no I have discovered that I am a pilgrim 2.0 ben. This was a very confronting discovery!

Just a brief introduction for those people who don't know or don't quite know what a pilgrim is. A pilgrim is someone who... (foot) journey to a holy place. Up here I am of course a typical pilgrim as I journey on foot to Santiago de Compostela, a holy place, but for me a pilgrim 2.0 making is the way I do.

Looking back on my first day. Departed from Amsterdam with a bag full of not just the standard stuff like your raincoat and boots, but also with a tablet, iPhone, chargers, and all the necessary apps to spend this trip well. Without these apps would be my trip a disaster. That was evident soon as we were inside the inn lost. You declare me crazy, but that really happened:-). I fell from that moment on my routines, that is, I am awakened by my iPhone. And once I get somewhere, I check whether wifi is to keep my social media and photos to share with family and friends. I also use Google maps to get lost anywhere. Too bad that it is not suitable for indoors than I was landed somewhere in the basement of a hostel. Along the way I book an inn or hostel through booking.com, I check the weather to know if I need my raincoat or factor 50 have to cover and I love my blog so you can enjoy it from my trip.

Fortunately I'm not the only pilgrim 2.0 because my companions are also where it can strum behind their trusty phone and Skype with home.

Hahahaha it makes me laugh so hard. Strayed…road structure, stability and autopilot. But what cool experiences. I'm following you...nice.
