Where is the gratitude?

Today is Thanksgiving in America (dankzeggingsdag) celebrated. It is a day when we give thanks for the harvest and for all the other good things in life.

It is a tradition that should actually take over the world. Why?

Because gratitude of our people makes happy, satisfied with what we have, who we are, with the people around us, with everyday things and the countless wonders that there are. Despite all the misery that we see daily in the news, There are wonderful things that we often do not see, or worse yet, do not want to see. Therefore, I hope one day that the news is based on good news and that we learn to appreciate the good news.

They say that only bad news sells, but I see around me change. People who like positive news with each other and share together happy are.

In order to convey gratitude, we must first start by banishing feelings like jealousy, envy, dissatisfaction, negativity and inferiority complexes. These feelings make us blind to the true beauty that hides every day behind the curtain of our eyes from the moment we open them again until we close them to sleep.

Gratitude begins with keeping our "I", that little person sometimes requires a great less, for a little rest, for attention, to respect, to be able to be simply, to energy, for solidarity, trust and love.

Let us be thankful all together, grateful for the little person that we are, for the family, friends and other people around us, the nature that gives us life every day, For everything there is and what there is.
